With less sunlight and energy during winter, turf growth rates and the amount of chlorophyll produced reduces. Chlorophyll is where the green pigment within turf originates from so with reduced levels, your turf naturally loses its colour.
Once winter is over, turf’s natural colour returns.

HOW COLOUR GUARD PLUS WORKS
ColourGuard PLUS can be purchased in a 2L ready to use bottle that you simply attach to your hose and spray evenly on your turf.
If you accidentally apply ColourGuard PLUS to a hard surface, such as your driveway, you can easily wash the product off with water.
This product is not a lawn paint, but a permanent green pigment that once dry, won’t wash off with rain or water. ColourGuard PLUS is also UV fade resistant and will not transfer onto clothing or pets once it has been absorbed into the turf.
Please ensure you allow at least two full hours in direct sunlight to allow ColourGuard PLUS to dry.
The pigment will only disappear from your turf when mowed. With the slower growth rate of winter, this means your lawn will keep its new colour even longer and less applications are required.
