OUR TOP TURF TIPS FOR WINTER
- Laying turf in winter can sound like a task too impossible. One thing you need to remember when laying turf in winter is it will take longer to establish with the reduced photosynthesis.
- Remember to maintain your lawn mower. There are a range of maintenance kits that you can purchase that include spark plugs, oil filters, air filters and fuel stabilisers. Do not forget to change your fuel (every thirty days or thereabouts) and check under the mower deck for any worn blades.
- Instantly revive the colour of your lawn with ColourGuard PLUS. This product is an easy to apply natural plant-based green pigment that once applied and dried, does not wear off unless mowed.
- Take care of Winter weeds promptly. If not addressed quickly, weeds will germinate, and seeds will spread the weeds quicker across the lawn. We recommend Oxa-Pro to provide your lawn with a nutrient boost whilst providing a pre-emergent barrier to help prevent spring weeds.
